if our field was that bad, I'd say the same and understand if somebody notice that our playing service looked like a cowpasture....luckly for us, our guys take pretty good care of it

im not sure but im pretty sure you are talking about hogville.net and if so i completely agree, im a extreme hog fan and even i got BANNED from that board. they are freakin rediculous. and to think that our replacement play by play man for the radio this year is a moderator for hogville.net I HATE THEM!

To which Arkansas board are you referring? Please don't think that those boards represent true Arkansas fans.
Speaking of fans, last night at the game I had the opportunity to interact with several Vols fans and they were all very nice, friendly, and polite before and after the game. Pure class. I think some of our fans could take a lesson from the orange and white.

Our play by play man is NOT a hogville moderator. Mike Irwin, sports director for Ch. 5 in Fayetteville is a moderator on the board. MIKE NAIL is the play by play man and far to professional and classy to have anything to do with hogville.net

Thank you for the compliments. IMO, fans' true colors show after a loss, so glad to hear our visiting fans were classy in defeat.

I just got back to the cookeville area after a 10 hour drive. I met 3 or four huge group of really nice arkansas fans. I mean they were respectful, asked us if we wanted anything to drink. SOME of them were truly awesome. THEN THERE IS THE REST OF THEM. I thought I was at the dang swamp there for a second. We were walking down the street and people getting all up in our faces screaming a ton curse words. It would not have been that bad but we had a lady with us and there is no need for that. Plus we had a beer thrown at us and some other type of object we didn't stick around to find out. I'm taking a group of about 25 people to the game in Knoxville next year and we are going to try to kill them with kindness. They had really Nice facilities, and they were definately pumped up and I understand that completely. congrats to all you hog fans on here you guys are pretty classy.

you have to remember with arkansas.. theyve never been anywhere close to really good before.. theyve never been dominant at all soo thats why they wont have class and just one thing to all you ark fans.. we'll see you at neyland next year

Hey now that I think about it. We do need to try to make Knoxville a FEAR ZONE... Not throwing crap and cursing or anything but just try to make some people uncomfortable. I am 22 and was talking to about a 75 year old man at the marshall game and he said 30 years ago the oppossing fans all tried to park in the same lot and walked to the stadium all together and 3 hours before the game started. I was just wondering if any of you guys could tell me if it truly was that way.

It sounds like you might have wandered onto Hogville. It's the worse Arkansas board out there. If I'm correct, it doesn't surprise me that they responded to you that way. It's mostly a group in their mid 20's and below to include several students.

I think you've seen Arkansas fans humble before and after last night's game. Including myself. I can't apologize for them, but I can say they are in the minority. Every program has "those fans" and Arkansas is no exception.

We are the LARGEST hog board on the net. We've got over 12,000 members. That's larger than Rivals.

Mike Nail is NOT a moderator on our board. He isn't even on our board.

If you've been banned, you needed it. You were either stirring up crap or bashing on others.

I'm sure the mods on this board completely understand the crap that some posters write. It's a full time job to keep the board running.

Futhermore, HOGVILLE is FREE! We don't charge for recruiting info, tailgates, etc. We just had 3 bands, 2 comics, and a DJ at our tailgate in the Gardens. FREE OF CHARGE.

I don't blame you. That jerk isn't a true hog fan. He is nothing more that an delivery boy for that rag of a site in Arkansas named Hogville. His soul purpose in life is to go all over the league and talk his way into their site and campaign for that site.
Hogville started up as a excellent idea for fans. But as it grew they got some nazi's as moderators and the rest is history. They ban me right after I post thing on Razorback history that they couldn't relate to.

So as far as classless Hog fans, go their, as for the true hog fan. Hats off to Vols fans for making the long trip to Northwest Arkansas.

If it was Hogville that you are talking about, I agree it's crap. That site sucks and is full of complete idiots that start stupid rumors about players transferring, quarterback contraversies, coaches fighting, etc. They still can't accept the fact that Houston Nutt has done a great job this year. They still thinks that he is calling the plays, when it's Malzahan doing so. Don't get a bad impression because of these idiots.

And if I'm not mistaken, the Original Poster was removed because his post was a statement/question referring to our football field as a cow pasture. That's why people came down on him.

let me be the first to apologize if anyone was insulted. i actually tailgated with a few tenn fans and we BS'd for a few hours. good guys. some of our fans our classless and some are great fans just like in tenn and all over the entire country. i promise that. NOW to say the WEST has been worthless for years is CRAZY in my opinion. LSU won a national title in 03 and auburn was undefeated and deserved to be in national champ game in 04. with that being sad im not saying the West is better then the East bc of the East having 3 great programs. GA, Fla, and you guys Tenn. but West hasnt been worthless.

I will agree with you that the West has certainly not been "worthless for years." Unfortunately we've dropped 2/3 to the West teams this season.
