This game should have been 3-0 tonight. The US had a ton of missed opportunities that will potentially destroy them down the stretch in this. On a brighter note, Altidore had a great shot tonight.

I have to give him credit for it. However, I hope it doesn't justify starting for years without producing. It's still hard to forget a World Cup without a forward scoring a goal.

I just saw your from Denver. Is it worth going to a rapids game? (We spend a couple weeks in Boulder every summer).

I haven't made it to one myself yet, so I couldn't tell you personally. I hear it's fun. It's hard for me to get fired up about club soccer though.

Should've won that game 5-0, but a win is a win. Might as well forget about this and focus on beating a surprisingly good Jamaica group.

Is there anyone coming down the pike that may be a competent forward for us? We need one badly.

Agudelo certainly looks the part IMO. Still not even 20. Altidore always shows promise but I don't think he will ever be the player expected him to become when he first exploded two years ago.

Missed the match. Can anybody offer a btief summary of what Dempsey did? A friend of mine said he did something ridiculously stupid regarding showboating?

Bob Bradley continues to be inept at getting this team ready to play along with terrible subs and being able to put the right players on the field... i believe dempsey needs to be put up front and bedoya moved out to the wing, edu in the middle, taking altidore and whoever else is starting up front out of the game.. midfield is our strong point and we need an extra guy in that area... altidore doesnt work hard enough although he had a cracker of a goal last night...jmo

I can't believe Jones missed that shot. That was laid out there for the taking. Yet again, a bunch of missed opportunities are killing us.

looks like barcelona is gonna use most of their transfer budget on Alexis Sanchez for 32 mill. Olé

We have to be the worst team during the transfer season. We overpay for everyone.

I don't think that is all of our budget. We will get 20 mil for Ibra. Also have already received a couple of million from smaller transfers. I also wouldn't be surprised if we sell Bojan which adds even more. I think we are still planning an attempt at Cesc.

Word on the street is you all have offered up David Villa.. Hoping to get 40 mil for him so you can buy Fabregas + Rossi. We will see though. I am pretty sure if any deal happens it will be cash + thiago alcantara for cesc.

As far as the National team, while the outcome was encouraging Sunday, it seemed like Jamaica came out flat more than anything.

Hope I'm wrong and the US has turned the corner.

Do not believe any of that. We aren't selling Villa. That story is just trash. I don't even want Cesc if it means we give up Thiago. No way. I love Thiago. In a very homosexual way.

The passing was certainly encouraging, IMO. We're much better when we don't just kick it as far as we can and hope Altidore can beat three defenders and finish, IMO.

It seems like thats all we do, we just beast the ball down field and hope and pray that Altidore or someone else finds the ball, and does something with it. I get so sick of that garbage. At any rate, we have a chance for revenge against Panama. Maybe we will finally start to capitalize on these shot opportunities.
