I have to give him credit for it. However, I hope it doesn't justify starting for years without producing. It's still hard to forget a World Cup without a forward scoring a goal. This game should have been 3-0 tonight. The US had a ton of missed opportunities. On a brighter note, though, Altidore's goal was a great shot.
Is there anyone coming down the pike that may be a competent forward for us? We need one badly.
looks like barcelona is gonna use most of their transfer budget on Alexis Sanchez for 32 mill. Olé
We have to be the worst team during the transfer season. We overpay for everyone.
I don't think that is all of our budget. We will get 20 mil for Ibra. Also have already received a couple of million from smaller transfers. I also wouldn't be surprised if we sell Bojan which adds even more. I think we are still planning an attempt at Cesc.
Word on the street is you all have offered up David Villa.. Hoping to get 40 mil for him so you can buy Fabregas + Rossi. We will see though. I am pretty sure if any deal happens it will be cash + thiago alcantara for cesc.
The passing was certainly encouraging, IMO. We're much better when we don't just kick it as far as we can and hope Altidore can beat three defenders and finish, IMO.As far as the National team, while the outcome was encouraging Sunday, it seemed like Jamaica came out flat more than anything.
Hope I'm wrong and the US has turned the corner.
