True, with as many games as the braves have left against sub .500 teams I'm sure he will be back though.

SN: The fact that baseball has more bandwagon fans than any sport is very evident in this thread. The amount of posters increased exponentially during that streak to start the season and this recent one

There are a lot of people who consider themselves fans who barely watch any regular season games at all. It's like there are so many that people end up not watching any of them. Whereas every football game is life or death, so people watch almost all of them.

And it's not just Braves fans; I think it's baseball fans in general. My buddy up in Baltimore considers himself a pretty big lifelong Orioles fan and goes to several games a year, but he never watches any of their games at home. If they weren't on at the bars I don't think he'd ever see them play on TV.

I'm a self-admitted early season fan. My interest in baseball goes like:

1st month: Watching the braves and other teams just about every day
2nd month: Still watching Braves, stop caring about other teams
All-Star Break: Watching the Braves about once a week
Now: Lucky to watch one a week.

It's a long season. I'll be back at playoff time.
