Funny how I've been asking for these changes for years and got blasted. Now we have a coach who's competent and everything is good to go.Next up Nike sponsorship I hope. Don't want UA as UT's sponsor.
Stop.
Why again???? For years I hollered unis mattered and a few other posters agreed. Most of you are on this bandwagon now after seeing it's not bad at all. I know the poster Orange & White was adamant about doing Orange and Grey. Our own blasted him. Now they see what it looks like.![]()
I can't speak for everyone. But it personally seems pretty condescending when you always make it out that everyone is out to get you and always wrong. Just seems like you are always trying to remind folks how you are always right. Just my perception. Maybe I'm all alone here.
"He is not always right."
darrington sentimore
So funny how I've never said I was always right nor did I say everyone was out to get me. Funny thing is I said Orange & White wanted the change more than anyone but I guess most people will skip over that. And Sentimore flamed out with the coaching staff. His talent was on display for 1 game(the Bama game). The coaches not getting him to produce like that effort wise all year was ridiculous.
But to Lebanon if I'm crickets it's probably because of work. They pay me quite a bit not to be on VN all day.![]()
I swear it seems like everytime I go into the recruiting forum the same things are just repeating themselves. Like the BB arguments. And just so you guys know, apparently the only reason he was wrong about Sentimore is because of the coaching staff

You can make a decent argument that the stupid shoe contracts matter in basketball because of the unholy symbiosis among the shoe companies, AAU coaches, and various other actors. E.g., the relationships among Nike, WW Wes, and John Calipari are extremely beneficial to Kentucky right now. I've never seen anything to make me believe it matters at all in football though, other than maybe the Nike/Oregon industrial complex itself, and that's clearly a singular arrangement.
