Do most people think he will be a RB or S at UT? I've seen a lot of people say hes too tall to be a RB, is that just troll talk?

He'll start out at RB, who knows where he ends up. People in the recruiting forum would kill you for mentioning him at any positio but running back and list the handful of exceptions that have succeeded at his height, but he could easily finish off his career at WR or on the defensive side.

If he isn't a RB I see him as a LB or even something like a LEO position. He will outgrow the safety position. His freshman year at minimum he will be a rb though. You're right though, one mention of position change and all hell breaks loose

I saw one of those discussions, they named Eric Dickerson, Eddie George, etc. That's what made me ask the sane RF guys in here.

I agree, will definitely outgrow the safety position. Still not discounting WR though since that is probably the second most common position he has been recruited at. That being said, I want him to be a rb here and a successful one at that. It has been too long since we've had a good rb. I'm just not going to ignore the fact that the list of rbs his size that have had success is less than 10

It is really bizarre in that thread, it is almost like people think if someone on volnation even mentions the possibility of him playing anywhere else he will decommit

Yep. Luckily for him he has the freak athleticism you would need to be a successful rb at his size, as did the likes of Dickerson, George, etc. Regardless, he is arguably our top recruit and pumped we got him.

We should already be worried. When/if we get to the playoffs, we won't be able to hit

This! BJ, Uggla and the pitchers spot are 3 automatic outs. Who knows when Heyward will be back. Jordan doesn't look the same. Can't imagine the Braves doing much against the Dodgers or Cards top 3 pitchers.

At least Maholm is back..... Depression setting in....

Talking about the Titans? Geez, and people thought the soccer talk was pointless. Spoiler alert, they going to go 7-9 or 8-8, just like EVERY OTHER ******* YEAR. They'll almost certainly start 1-7, tease all you guys with the hope of a draft pick high enough to get a game changer and the proceed to close the season 6-2 and break your hearts.

I lived in Nashville when they moved up there and actually cheered for them for several years. But now, God I hate that franchise and its cheap-ass owner's relentless commitment to mediocrity.

He mad

Not mad, the Titans are just an embarrassment to our state. Why anyone would elect to cheer for them, or any team whose owner doesn't give a damn if they win is beyond me.

Actually Adams wants to win he just old as balls and senile. I'm not wishing death upon him but he needs to be out as the owner. As far as an embarrassment, that's a far, far reach. The Titans are a huge asset to Nashville as well as the state's economy.

You've gotta be pretty damn senile to fire one of the most respected coaches on the league, not even search for a qualified replacement, simply promote an offensive line coach and think that's going to help you win. That was the moment the Titans forever lost what little bit give a crap I had left for them.

As far as me calling them an embarrassment, I know they are an asset economically, I just think its disgraceful for any professional franchise not to put forth a full-faith effort to try and field a winner, and IMO, the Titans don't do that.
