He's been an unwavering broken record in his ridiculous assertion that this team is better than the 2010 team that Dooley took over. I am fully confident that this year's team is the least talented team that UT has ever put on the field in all my years watching UT football, which dates back to about 1990.

The scary part? As far as experienced talent, next year will arguably be much worse.

I haven't seen sjt's argument but that premise doesn't seem outside the realm of possibility to me.

The even scarier part? The fact that it is entirely possible that had Dooley shut the door on Mizzou last season and ended up in a bowl game, he might still be here, with a another full year to recruit and let our talent level plumb even deeper uncharted waters.

That **** keeps me up at night...

It's absurd that he got the $5M buyout, but in the final analysis, money spent to make him go away, regardless of the amount, may be some of the best money the UTAD will ever spend.

Absolutely. I know our financial situation sucks but if it were up to me, knowing what we know now...I'd gladly pay even more that to get him the hell away from my program.

It's almost as empty in this thread as it is at Turner Field. I know it's a Tuesday night, but it's still a pretty weak crowd. No worries though, things will pick up come late September/October.

Maybe we missed the rapture...Turner Field I can understand but the usual suspects in here? I don't know...usually they are here by the 4th, haha.

Getting real tired of them talking about how long it takes to play a game.

No friggin joke. I'm pretty sure if you break it down by time, an average football game has a similar ratio of downtime to action. For two teams that huddle and run your average pro style offense, there is a whole lot of standing around doing nothing.
