And Peterman wouldn't? He never came close to pushing Worley for the job. And at least Worley already has experience playing badly in hostile road games.
Obviously I don't think Worley's very good. But I do think he might be okay enough in a Rick Clausen sort of way, ie to manage the game and not lose it himself against the beatable teams on the schedule. Unless he's completely abysmal early, it would probably be a mistake to add a needless QB controversy heading into the ugly part of the schedule. If Peterman is likely at all to be better than Worley, the coaches should have already figured that out.
Unless of course Jones has a Machavellian plan to use Worley like a body bag and give Peterman the easier part of the schedule to prep for next year. In which case it's still too early to make the switch.
