Listened to AA on Buster Olney’s podcast this morning. They’re hell-bent on getting Bautista up here no matter what, so he’s the guy you’re looking for. At least this year.

If he sucks when he comes up here, I hope they don't give him a long leash given AA's history with him. He looked like he was near-done last year, bat speed is totally gone, and he isn't exactly tearing it up at AAA.

Well Buster asked AA about the AAA numbers and if they were disappointed and was given an answer like “well it’s basically his spring training and we know spring training numbers don’t mean very much.”

He also kinda laughed off the idea that Bautista may have issues at 3rd base.

So my guess is when he’s called up he’ll be the everyday 3B and it’ll take a lot to remove him from that spot.

Pro tip. I started using twitter to follow Braves and UT baseball/softball and got rid of a bunch of UT football and local media follows.
