I want Brian Snitker to walk me through his lineup decisions. Just once I want to understand how a manger decides on a lineup. In what world does Culberson start make sense

It's getaway day when guys are more likely to get a day off and Camargo has to play SS.

Camargo at SS and Flaherty at 3rd. You can easily get guys a day here and there without ever seeing Charlie culberson.

I don't think he's any good either, but it may be a function of them thinking Swanson is going to need to sit for a couple of days.

If you’re gonna have Culberson on the roster (we shouldn’t) then you probably gotta give him some at bats every now and then.

Not even fair. After Soroka/Gohara/Wright/Touki you got Wilson/Wentz/Muller right after them. The farm system is stacked.

Which is exactly why it’s time to trade some of these guys for top end talent. Do it before the shine comes off some of them. Pick the guys you really like and the guys you don’t.

Yeah, I don’t mean right now necessarily. But all these guys can’t start for the Braves. This year and going into next is the time to optimize this roster - before you have to pay Acuña, Ozzie and Dansby.

Asked what he did different for his swing on MLB network. Said all his power is pull but he’s always had a pretty good launch angle. Said he just started his swing a tad earlier with an effort to pull the ball more and it increased his power.
