I was doing this before I realized shaving bought me a couple extra days.

Looking like an skinhead and cold days have been the only downfalls.

I don't use any lotion regularly. I shave with a Fusion ProGlide and just regular old shave gel while in the shower. After my shave, I use some Gilette After Shave Gel/lotion and that's it.

As we enter summertime, sunblock will be your friend.

I went all of this past November without shaving.... not a good look for me. I looked like a homeless pedophile. It's one of the few situations where being mistaken as a skinhead would be an improvement.

Good stuff. May give it a shot in the shower. Shaving the back of the head is a b itch.


I am slowly acclimating the dome to the sun, a few minutes a day I’ll let it soak up some vitamin D. A decent shade other than virgin white would be nice.

You'll get the hang of it. It's actually easier without a mirror. I've been shaving my head for 20+ years now. I can count the number of nicks on one, maybe two hands, at most. It's just a feel thing.

Shaving it in the shower is definitely the move.
