My very basic understanding is that the Preds are very supportive of a plan to use tax dollars to fund a public transit system downtown and they inserted themselves in that debate earlier this year. It was voted down in some form despite their support.

They’re now supporting a progressive candidate for Nashville mayor that will support the transit plan.
