Don’t know what’s funny. Enders an elite fielder but below average to average hitter. I’d rather have the offense. Not losing anything in defense with Acuna out there.

You know you are permitted to have more than one elite OF.

also, if you think he is below average you are taking crazy pills. He is having a down year at the plate but still.

He’ll be gone when Pache is ready

Pache ain’t ready this year nor next (most likely). You don’t trade a gold glove OF when you are leading the division. That’s not smart baseball.

Except that you’re not losing defense in center when Acuna slides over and fills that spot. Then you’re potentially adding offense in Peterson. That’s why I asked the question. I’m fine with Ender holding that spot until Pache and Waters are ready if that’s what they want to do

Yes, you are losing defense. Acuna is not as good as Ender yet.

And offense is not a problem. OF is not a problem. If we do anything offensively it needs to be 3rd. This is simple.

Except Riley isn’t ready yet, unless you want to go pick up Moustakas or something.

You are entitled to your opinion as I am to mine

Who would you give up for him?

I’d give up some of our pitching prospects not named Soroka, Gohara, Wright. That’s if it’s week before deadline and we are still right there, which I believe we will be. But I’d rather sure up the pen. Starting pitching is what it is, been good and can be sustained but will worry me in October. But the SP market is always too high.
