Kiffin is really good at several different aspects of his job, but I don't think he's got the personality to pull all the various threads of a program together, at least not yet. It'll be interesting to see what happens to him after this.

Why would an NFL team take on the headache/distraction? There's nothing particularly remarkable about his system; he's not one of the Evil Offensive Genius types. There are a thousand guys who can call plays in the classic 20th century pro offense.

He needs to be in college, since most of his value is as a recruiter, but he's going to need to disappear for awhile first. He's too radioactive.

....and of course the problem with hiring Kiffin for his recruiting is that you've got to have Ed Orgeron on staff too.

Exactly. You'd think people would start getting used to the fact that we suck. Like I said earlier, it's like people fell asleep after the Florida win in '01 and just woke up this morning. I mean, has anyone been paying attention?
