He isn't the worst, but he is pretty bad IMO. He was fluffing the Pats about the "Patriot Way" last night.. as if one of their stars isn't about to go to trial for murder.

Yeah, complimenting the team about bringing in questionable guys and it always working out once BB got his hands on them while completely disregarding the AH situation was pretty pathetic.

That being said, when it comes to actual on field commentary, I think he is one of the best color guys working today. He actually knows the game, can string together coherent sentences, and tends to explain subtle things that are happening mid play that I at least don't tend to notice during the game.

Was just coming here to ask the same thing. I'll need to make some accommodations to my work schedule if the game on Thursday is in the afternoon. I'll be able to work for a few hours that morning and then hit the road if the game isn't till 8, but if it's earlier I'll probably just clear my schedule for both days and try to catch up on Saturday.

I'm 5-6 hrs away and an hour behind. Thursday is gone for me. I'm trying to figure out if I need to leave Wednesday.

Are you hanging around Thursday night and going to the Friday game as well?

I don't actually even have tickets yet, but the game isn't close to sold out, and we're waiting on one of my buddies today to find out if he can get us some free ones through a work contact. If that falls through, I guess we'll either buy some from the actual ticket office or see if we can find some really good seats for a decent deal on Craigslist. Tickets seem to be pretty abundant right now.
