On an unrelated note probably going to go see some Capitals games this year. Never really gotten into hockey, but figure with a team so close might as well try.

It's a damn good time. They're not my team so I'm not incredibly invested in the result although I do root for them when they aren't playing Boston but that area of DC is a lot of fun now a days.

Yeah, the few times I have been up their it seems like a fun area. Making the move in a little bit less than a month now.

Toews is great no doubt. They both were amazing in the 2010 Cup. Thought Kane was a little better this run.

Kane was lethal in front of net these playoffs but JT does everything. Kane's stats with and without Toews on the ice bears that out. I watch a fair amount of hockey all season so I knew he was good but really focusing on every game in a series I got an even bigger appreciation for how good Toews is.

Agreed.

God bless you...worst two years of my life were in the DC area. I hated every second of it. Hope you find it more enjoyable.

Well actually a bit outside DC in Bethesda, but does not seem like a bad commute at all.

No, that's why I asked. Almost nobody ever actually moves to DC proper. I used to live in Laurel, MD right on the BW Parkway, 30 minutes (not counting traffic) from each city.

Yeah, have enjoyed it the little but of time I've spent up there. Of course not having to stress about applying for research grants will make up for any parts of the area I don't like I think anyways.

Learned something new tonight:

It is believed that Shakespeare was 46 around the time that the King James Version of the Bible was written. In Psalms 46, the 46th word from the first word is shake and the 46th word from the last word is spear.

Actually Laurel was one of the places I was looking to live and just make the commute everyday after being turned off by the price of apartments in the area. Quickly realized it was just the area in general that was expensive.
