“It’s the same thing that I’ve gone through every year. At the end of the year, I just don’t know if my time has run its course or if it’s time for change. You know that. Two years ago, I thought it, and I ended up signing, because really at that time I thought I had to sign.”

Ainge must’ve really twisted his arm to sign a five-year, $35 million contract.

“I thought it was the right thing to do where our organization was at, you know? Paul had four years and Kevin had four years on his contract, and I just thought it would be the wrong time to leave.”

Pierce had two more left on his deal at the time. Garnett was a free agent last summer.

From the article I posted earlier (italics are what the writer of the article wrote).

So either Doc Rivers is so naive he didn't know the contract situation of his player, or he's so naive that he thinks he can lie to the media even though we have information right in front of us.

Dan Uggla has some of the most deceptive speed that I've ever seen. He just doesn't look like he ought to be able to run.

I don't even want to let my mind go there and imagine what happens if Uggla and BJ just start hitting with a *little* consistency...

Let's see, I owe all you guys a snark about Chipper and a general rant about baseball players being vaginas, Mario Kart and a sixer for Brown, and a slap across the head to Ben for bring celebrity couples back up. Anything I'm missing?
