This is what a bottle of blue label looks like when you buy it

therefore, only thing I think about that one is that it is out of my price range.

I've had the other three main varieties and enjoy them quite a bit, as someone who likes but doesn't love Scotch.

Best description of the Johnnie Walker brand I've heard is "good Scotch whiskey for people who don't really like whiskey." They're quality whiskies, blended for broad appeal, which means they don't have much of the interesting flavor characteristics you find in other Scotches. I will happily drink JW when it's offered to me, but I don't ever buy it myself because there's usually a more interesting whiskey at or below the same price point. They're tasty though. A taste test with the value pack and a couple of friends sounds like a fun Saturday night.
