Lmao. Don’t worry, I did. It absorbed more poly than I thought it would so I clear coated it quite a bit.

I use this stuff called Odie’s Oil. All natural, super tough and extremely margorona resistant. Check it out on future projects.

Awesome, I saw the red oak. That’s was a staple in those days, as was the poplar. The cherry threw me off, haven’t seen that a lot. If your great mee maw’s barn had some chestnut y’all would have some very valuable lumber.
