Didn’t say it wasn’t fair up to this point and understand that he is signed but peanuts compared to what it would take to sign Soto. It would have to cause a lot of tension with Ronald.plus there’s no guarantee Soto doesn’t blow a knee while making $40-50M.

The Braves have literally allowed Ronald to do whatever he’s wanted to do since day 1. ( part of the problem for a further discussion) He signed a deal when they could have just kept going year to year. The whole lineup makes more than him, it’s business

I've seen Ronnie's instagram, he's not hurting for money at all. These guys make so much I don't think jealousy is really an issue like it was in the 70's and 80's.

If Riley is hurt for the rest of the year, I have no absolutely no clue what they can do. They can't have Luke Williams or Zack Short playing everyday. Nacho did not look ready when he was playing. Brian Anderson? I guess he can still play 3rd?

I’d say just play nacho but the options are not great regardless

I'm trying to cheat and help out the lower of the order. Merrifield actually has been getting on base since coming over and gives some speed. My guess is they'll keep going Soler at leadoff when he's healthy which at this point I don't love.

It's 100 PA and the fielding has been ugly but Laureano has a 136 wRC+ since coming to Atlanta.
