I can't imagine they would try and win that second game, Braves would have 5 seed no matter what and play San Diego. It's going to be the B crew with Elder starting and probably Ian or AJSS getting called up to eat inning for a fresh bullpen.

Was thinking the same, if the Braves win Game 1 they have no reason to care what happens behind them. Should be fun

Braves have Iglesias, Johnson, Jimenez rested

They also have Bummer and Chavez fully rested (I know, I know)

Holmes- 21
Hernandez- 25
Lee- 20
Jackson- 3

My thinking would be everyone but Hernandez should be available today. Lee could probably cover 1 inning since he didn't pitch for four straight days. They will use Elder to cover start the 2nd game if they handle game 1 and probably call somebody else up to cover innings the second game ("demote" Hernandez). If they lose the first game...Sale till it ain't!
