The Atlanta Braves

Sending a team from ATL to play in Philadelphia and Chicago the first week of the season is absolutely brilliant.
I thinknwe request to open on the road, but I feel like there are enough cities to where you could either play in a dome or on the WC without sending teams to Chicago, Philly, NY or Boston.

Literally the only worse place to go after opening in the northeast is Minneapolis. I’m sure they’re trying to give everybody a weekend opener, but that doesn’t mean you should have to play two series in a row inside a freezer.

Minneapolis is one of those "why is there a big city here?" cities. I know why, but still. It's so damn cold for too much of the calendar.

I understand we aren't going to be a place where multiple come year in year out but taking 1 or 2 a year should be possible.
Or just find and develop good players regardless of freshman or transfers. A transfer that’s ready to contribute > a five star that’s not an immediate impact player

I don't know (or care, honestly) all that much about the LVs but it seemed like a thing that probably needed to happen but wasn't going to.
Recruiting was so bad. She didn't have much to sell. With how she handled things, I wouldn't be surprised if someone told me she was told to win this year or you're out. She didn't seem to have a plan beyond this year.

This pretty clearly is a case where DW needs to go outside the family and hire someone who is truly the best for the job, not the ex-LV who is the best for the job. He's definitely the man to do it.

It is amazing that some people even need to be told this, given that she's been gone for over a decade now, but it is time to move on from Pat. If she was still here, she'd be the first one to say that.

Apparently Kellie’s buyout dropped from $3.1M to $2.2M today, hence the announcement. But probably been done for a week
LA said it was the recruiting/portal mishaps. Wasn't getting the talent needed.
Also said Jon (her husband on staff) was a non negotiable although he didn't recruit.
