Albert Belle won how many World Series?

We don’t need assholes. Clubhouse chemistry is a real thing and important. What we need is a manager that isn’t a bumpkin and somebody to willing to step up and be a leader. Not someone who was convicted of stalking

Both those guys for sure, but I think what Joc meant to the team cannot be understated. It was actually incredible how everyone talked about he changed the vibes from day one. And I don’t think he’s some super fiery, in your face guy. I just think he helps upholds a standard.

Like you said after the playoff series, not one dude on this team other than Strider (a pitcher) lives and breathes with the results of baseball. They all have their guaranteed contracts, they all think they’ve accomplished something because the organization acts like making the playoffs is some high achievement. And we have a ****ing loser of a manager who lost the actual heart of the coaching staff in Wash and has a team that is completely complacent because he lets them. He’s the substitute teacher, the whole team knows it and while the Braves values good guys (so the clubhouse isn’t toxic), nobody gets called out (except hilariously enough Ronnie) and they don’t have any sense of urgency

I mean this team is run by a guy that came into the clubhouse last year, was asked about the players only meeting and the moron not only didn’t know there was a players only meeting, was dumb enough to ask out loud “what players only meeting” in front of the press. That is the manager. They just let the grandparent keep running the business into the ground because nobody has the balls to let him go.

The fact that one of Touki, Wright, Newk. Soroka and Allard never panned out is so depressing
