I understand he made little money the first sixty years of his life and I get this is the last year of the contract, but him and management should have sat down and really discussed if he actually has the passion and drive to do another year.

The lid is tight on the QB front. Nothing coming out of the AD at the moment.

It's might suck but the schedule should be 8-4 minimum regardless of QB. Figure out if Merk/Mac are anything, if they aren't you got Brandon and time to get a one-year transfer QB. At this point, it seems like we aren't going to get anyone that is a legitimate proven starter.

I don’t know the number but I know that boosters absolutely love Barnes and have gone above and beyond to get him extra financial support ie they’ve gone over budget. When Barnes retires that could be a problem

They just picked up a top 5 overall recruit and they picked up a top overall portal kid, so they are definitely spending the money.

Apparently, Ament is further along than Tobias Harris was at this point in their careers. If that is true, the kid could be all-time special. Harris was so good in college, that stupid Pearl scandal overshadowed it.
