I believe we beat Mizzou by double figures on Sat. Still need an SEC tourney win to be in for sure. Playing the way we are playing now, I would like another shot at the gators.
Who we are playing has nothing to do with Barton hitting open looks. It also has nothing to do with the urgency and intensity at which we are playing defense. Obviously Vandy and Aurburn missed more shots than a better team. But with the way we were playing defense even good teams would have been fighting tooth and nail just to get a good look. That is what is encouraging. Who cares what the margin of victory was against some bad teams. Now, will we continue to see that Barton and that defense the remainder of the season? That is the question nobody can answer. 'Inconsistency' should be the slogan printed on the warm-up shirts they wear. We will see.
I understand the team's play is encouraging. However, look at who they played the last 3 games. If this turnaround is for real their tourney hopes will ride on the Mizzou game and how they do in the SEC tourney.

It looks like McRae might be buying in, didn't see that coming.
A month ago, I didn't either. He was playing selfish basketball, and looking to pad his pro resume. His last 3 games are a different story. He is playing a team game right now, and I just hope it continues. We will have games when we need him to carry us, but with our inside presence, they should be few and far between.
Man McRae a senior. I think he realizes the only way he gets to play in a tourney game is if he buys in
Yes they did. I thought I even saw a box and 1 at one time with McRae chasing his man, but that could have been a mixup.
