Just remember that people thought Keaton was a bad choice for Batman when he was cast and later on that Ledger was a bad choice for The Joker.

I’ve seen that going around social media about Keaton. No one cared back then. They were just excited to be getting a Batman movie. That movie had nearly a year of uninterrupted hype and everyone was on board.

There was hesitation about Ledger. He was coming off being a gay cowboy and the initial image with scars was unlike any joker that preceded him.

But to your point, I’m in total wait and see mode.

From what I have read fandom wasn't happy about Keaton casting.

I think that is revisionist history. I was 11 and already pretty entrenched in comic shop gossip. Still a kid but I listened to the older guys at the shop. I have no recollection of any strong feelings against Keaton. I’m sure there was some skepticism by some fans about him but it was nothing like the way fans react to castings these days.

Josh Gad is openly campaigning to play The Penguin but only her fans/ Twilight fans want Kristen Stewart to play Catwoman. I'm good with Gad playing Penguin but I would go with either Rose Leslie or Natalie Dormer as Catwoman.

I've never seen Twilight. What's wrong with Kristen Stewart? I'm not a Batman fan and wasn't interested in this at all, until now. I like Kristen Stewart.

I like Gad. Just for the record guys I don’t know Jack about comic books so know half the time I’m either mostly joking or don’t know hardcore stuff. Batman is pretty much my only comic book character I get into.

Apparently Batman is going to face a rogues gallery and there could be up to 6 villains in the movie.

He's not a bad actor (but got a bad rap from Twilight) On the other hand, she is horrible.
