No, we were knocked out of contention to place in the top 4 when we lost to UTEP.

My hopes are high tonight. I really, truly hope there isn't another UTEP-style collapse in the cards for us or that we trend backwards toward that kind of play at any point this season. I'm a believer, I think this can be a top 10 team by March. I'm looking at the schedule, and I really don't see a worrisome game on the schedule before conf play starts except Wichita State of course, that'll be tough. It's going to be a fun season.

Both Virginia and Wichita state has excellent coaches but I hopo we can physically overwhelm them.
