The best college football player to ever wear.........

Two completely different issues. The issue about Overrrated was related to his heart in comparison to Albert Haynesworth. You have heart or you don't. It doesn't matter if it's in NFL or College. It just took an NFL check for Overrated's goldbrick streak to take over. The Wuerffel/Manning debate was purely about their collegiate numbers and whether or not they were the best to wear them.

I don't agree, but that's ok. If you either have heart or you don't, then he had it because he showed it at UT.

The Heisman is a media award and popularity contest. If you want to use championships as a judge, that's one thing, but the heisman?

"The Heisman is a media award and popularity contest. If you want to use championships as a judge, that's one thing, but the heisman?"

Until there is a playoff, the national championship will also continue to be a popularity contest among voters who never played the game.

None of the coaches ever played? That's strange.

As far as media bias goes, there are more people living in Texas and California than all states combined representing the SEC.

Jesus christ you love to nitpick dont you. I said AMONG THE VOTERS they never played the game. DID I SAY ONE TIME THAT NONE HAVE PLAYED? Sure good amount have played but there are alot that have not and have an equal vote to those former players to voice an opinion for the mythical national championship. I have agreed with you on alot of things here but being that nitpicky is rediculous.
