One name that I am surprised is not getting mentioned right now is Dayne Crist from Notre Dame. That would be a "whale" by our staff. He would be perfect in our system IMO. 6'5" with a laser arm and a good football IQ. He has to sit behind Clausen for 2 more years, unless Clausen blows up this year and goes pro early. It would be a perfect situation for him to come here and start for 3 years. Long shot, I know...:whistling:

He's been mentioned. I guess at this point it a question of who hasn't been mentioned.

I always feel our coaches have something up there sleeves. It will be like this for as long as this staff is at UT. They recruit so well that no one knows who will be the next "big fish."

All this speculating is exactly what it is...that's what makes this staff so exciting. Just think how crazy VolNation was today because of a rumor that may or may not be true. Now, only if the start of the season would come sooner.
