Interesting show. Agent Keen is whacked in the head. Everyone is whacked in the head over what took place in the first season.

Berlin is going to be Red's nemesis from here on.

The show flew by this week.

Agreed. Painfully predictable and boring. The only part that wasn't predictable was stupid. I'm sure Berlin is going through all that trouble to find Red and then just walk away. Same for Red, Berlin kidnaps and tortures his wife and he walks away. I'm pretty sure one of them would have set up snipers somewhere.

I like that they take time to set up the main event, but I agree about it being a little dumb that neither of them would allow the other to walk away. Didn't think it was terrible, but kind of a filler for me.

I liked the episode. They have changed the formula a bit to feature Redd and not Keen. That has been the biggest difference. Underexposure to Reddington leads to big scene stealing lines. However, in following Reddington around thew world, his lines do not stand out as much.

I can accept the honor among thieves/live to fight another day premise that Red and Berlin live by. It's an honor code and fits their characters in a weird sort of way. But I agree that shifting the story to more of Red and less of Keen has changed the story. I liked it more coming from her POV. In trying to capitalize on Spader's critical success, they're hurting their own story. They need to take a step back and return to the formula of season one.

He had his wife and didn't know where she was, shooting Berlin at that time would have been as dumb as Big Jim dropping the egg into the hole on Under The Dome.

They got back to last season's successful recipe. Good show. Pee Wee Herman was even in the episode.
