I wish Fulmer would have pulled Oher instead of Chris Donald, Bret Vinson, and all the other 5 star busts. Actually was Oher even a 5 star prospect??

I went to high school and played basketball with Big Mike for three years. He definitely wanted to go to UT, but the Tuohy's really don't like UT. Throughout the entire recruiting process Trooper Taylor was at the school more than any other coach, and Mike always wore UT gear. Even the head high school football coach wanted him to go to UT. The final decision came down to the fact that the Tuohy's wanted him at ole miss, Mike wanted to stay close to home, and his high school football coach was offered a position on the ole miss coaching staff.

Of course he did. Fulmer had promised a job on staff if Oher went to UT.

Did anyone notice that when it showed Tom Lemmings desk in the movie that it had a magazine with BB and Kiffin on it one of my friends has told me about it and I was seeing if anyone had any idea if it was true or not

So your a Briarcrest grad I see? I have a lot of friends that attended there. My friend's brother, Brett Toney, was the quarterback of the 2004 state championship team. Ofcourse, we all know who was protecting his blindside that year. :wink2:

I noticed it immediately and pointed it out to those with me. I don't know if Kiffin was on it, but Bryce was, for sure.
