On the plus side, I suppose this feeling is better than the almost total apathy of the last few years.

Not even that, but if NY overturns a call it hurts the umpires on a rating system or their money or something like that, and those that arent rated well wont get postseason games, and thus they get less money, so their buddies in NY wont overturn a call unless they 1000% have to
