Just got a statement from OSU:

Statement from The Ohio State University
The university is conducting an investigation into these allegations. During the inquiry, Urban Meyer will be on paid administrative leave. Ryan Day will serve as acting head football coach during the investigation. We are focused on supporting our players and on getting to the truth as expeditiously as possible.

I thought the book on AA was that he generally seasoned his prospects on the farm. He has really been the opposite here. Of course im assuming he has never had this much wealth.

He specifically said before the year he was going to be more deliberate than Coppy was but that’s gone out the window. Maybe he didn’t realize the talent of the organization but it is odd.
