As far as I can tell Ovechkin and Tom Wilson and TJ Oshie have been drunk more or less constantly since the Vegas nightclubs Thursday night. They went to the Nats game to throw out the first pitch and were supposed to leave right afterwards, but instead they went to a suite and started pounding beers. Look at these wankers chugging beers during an interview. I love my damn hockey team.

I am a bigger fan of drinking than hockey and this team is putting up a 1927 Yankees-level celebration. They are on a full out public bender. Might be prouder of that than the actual Cup.

Update on a post I made back in March about the kid I used to care for whose cancer came back. After more rounds of chemo. He had the tumors removed from his neck. The pathology report came back negative and his lymph nodes were benign!! This kid is now a two time cancer survivor at 10 years old!

That is amazing news. Verc Jr spent 10 days in NICU after he was born and even though after three or four days we were pretty sure he was gonna be all right, it was still probably the worst period of my life. And as awful as that was, it was still nothing compared to what parents of kids like this go through. Every time I hear about something like this I just want to curl up into a ball for the family. Great to hear.

Yeah, its pretty obvious (to me anyway) that that early season power surge is still in his head. He's young so he will come around but he needs to get back to his bread and butter.

I wish he wasn't. If he would concentrate on making solid contact instead trying to hit it 5 miles, he might be hitting .290 instead .250

He doesn't take a leadoff hitter approach, but do we have a leadoff hitter? Ender constantly hitting weak grounders to 2nd isn't any better
