The loss of OA hurts most from a glove and speed standpoint.

Arcia and Gosselin are both experienced major leaguers who are very solid defensively and anything that Snitker and his staff get on offense is a big bonus.

The silver lining in this is that Albies is not done for the season like the Acuna injury last season.

When August 2nd rolls around, I think AA makes a couple of small deals to improve this roster after he sees what Arcia and Gosselin can do for this lineup.

With Strasburg and Gray and possibly Soto not playing anymore in this series, we are looking at a possible 14 game win streak headed to the Windy City for a long weekend visit with the Cubbies.
