He is the best baseball player on the planet. A 1 in a billion talent. You cannot put a price on that. I would do it yesterday. But I get what you’re saying but make no mistake he would be worth it.25 year old with 15 WAR thus far, a CF with gold glove and all star potential and three pitchers (one potetential ace) for their rotation … not even counting the #1 prospect. For a guy that’s going to command an ungodly contract. Not a “bargain” at all.
