I wonder how much longer the Marlins can afford to stay in Miami with crowds like 10,200 and 8,000 for a series against a top team like Atlanta.
I really don't think Nashville will be as big of a hit as people think. You're right in the middle of Braves, Reds, and some Cards fans A lot of people have been long time fans and i don't think they will just jump ship. Then you have college football in the south starting before the season ends and a lot of people will be out by late August. I just don't see it.There's still that rumor out there that the Angelos family wants to move to Nashville badly. That'd be sad.
I don't disagree with any of that at all, but in terms of cities Nashville is a pretty shiny object. For the reasons you gave, I don't really see them drawing many people from outside the city limits because there are so many Braves fans. If you live in Davidson County and are a big Braves fan, I can see some people getting on board and being fans of both, mostly because it would be easy to go to Nashville's games. However if you're in Knoxville, Chattanooga, etc., and a Braves fan, I don't think many of those people would become huge fans of the Nashville team. I don't think I would. CFB interest is a problem that the Braves have to deal with too when the Braves are out of it come September.I really don't think Nashville will be as big of a hit as people think. I was just out there. Absolutely beautiful part of the country, but no idea why any industry would want to enter that market with the complete whack-job leadership they've got. I've been to a lot of places and I've never seen a homeless problem like that.I don’t care either way (B4L) but 0.00000% chance Portland gets an expansion team
