I would pass on 2 years for Verlander. I would aim higher upside or lower cost than Verlander.

I think that Strider will figure heavily into that mix above. Give some burn to AJSS, Waldrep, Ian Anderson, etc.

Verlander is no longer a #1 and I would trust Morton to give me more starts and innings next year. If you can’t/won’t pony up to the ChiSox, sign Craig for another year and ride what you got.

The other thing, I think is the staff needs to make a decision on the offensive philosophy. Either go back to super high tempo and simple or be more diverse and not rely on the tempo so much. The in-between thing we’re doing now isn’t dynamic
