The Braves Thread

Do we still have permanent opponents? If so, how many?
They still have yet to figure that out on a permanent basis, I think. The speculation has been that UGA and maybe even UF would go away as permanent. Neither was a permanent opponent (or even seen as a rival, really) by either fanbase until divisional play began in 1992.

Kind of wild to go back and look at those series today - those games seem like an institution to us but in 1990, we had only played each of those schools about 20 times since the programs began.

CFP QB Classes

Clemson: Jr.
Texas: Jr. (& Arch after they pull Quinn in Q2)

Tennessee: Freshman
Ohio State: Sr.

SMU: So.
PSU: Jr.

Indiana: Sr.
ND: Sr.

ASU: Freshman
Boise: So.
Georgia: So. (Beck is a Sr.)
Oregon: Sr.

Props to ASU. Hope the freshmen match up in a semifinal.

I think in 26 we lose either UGA or UF

But I also think we go to 9 games so who knows.

But I agree UGA needs to go.

The original plan was the get through 25 and then reassess. They said the sec games from 24 would stay the same. The plan was to see if they added anyone else first and then go to 9 but after Bama got left out who knows

I always thought Sankey was waiting so he can get more money. Here's how much you made, you can make this much more with an extra game.

Absolutely. They’re not very good at WR, so the offense could definitely use another element. He really exposes himself when he runs though.
Is Colby Young supposed to come back for them? I think he's pretty good.

For our offense we need an upgrade at WR to beat them. Kirby will make us beat him playing man before he adjusts. I dont think we have any recievers that will be able to do that consistently.
