Little man started tee ball a couple weeks ago. At practice on Saturday he hits one off the tee, and before running to first he slings the bat backwards over his shoulder a good 6 or 7 feet. Didn't hit anybody, but could have if another kid had wandered too close. I tell him no, we don't throw the bat, just drop it and run.

Today at lunch, out of nowhere he asks "How come we don't throw the bat? Tennessee does."
