Are they not satisfied with Camargo? I know he had a slow start, but he's been our hottest hitter the last few weeks. He's raised his average about 40 points.

I think they are internally but baseball people believe they can improve. I was on Moustakaa six weeks ago but Camargo has been better. I don’t see the need ATM. I wanna focus on bullpen or a controllable frontline starter

Agree. I would leave the everyday lineup alone. Bullpen should be the main focus

Same. My reason wasn’t that I didn’t like Camargo, but his versatility could be used elsewhere. Fine with him being our everyday guy at this point.

Need bullpen ASAP

I’ve seen some Braves people on Twitter rumbling about Marcus Stroman but don’t know much about him.

I like Stroman. I don’t know how much better he is to alternatives already in house tho.

I would roll him out there over Brandon McCarthy gettin back on the bump

I’d still push hard as hell for deGrom. Two years control after this, playoff experience, legit ace. You have the prospects.

I’d give up Wright, Allard, Pache, and Riley. That’s a **** ton of stuff but DeGrom is so good. Maybe throw in Wentz or Muller if they throw in Familia

Me either, but I’m okay with Newk/Folty/Teheran/Fried for the stretch run and going with Sanchez or McCarthy to eat innings as the 5th starter

Like Stroman as a regular season pitcher, but just not a fan of extreme ground ball pitchers in the post season. Some games with a pitcher like Stroman every ground ball seems to find its way through the infield and while it averages out during the regular season it could tank a postseason series. Definitely wouldn’t give up any potential power pitcher for him.

The one thing that I will say for Stroman is that not only would he be leaving the AL east, but a change in organizations and pitching philosophies could change things greatly. I don’t know enough about the Blue Jays to know what they push with their pitcher, but look at Gerrit Cole and Charlie Morton once they got away from an organization that preached pitching to contact and getting ground balls to the Astros. K/9 shot up for both of them

Definitely a possibility especially with the improvements Newk and Folty have made this year
