We’re a long way from that
A long way. Oregon, OSU, Georgia, and Texas are the playoff teams. Everyone else is filler for “expansion”.

We’ve come a long way. But we are not close to their level. There’s no two ways about it. It will take a significant multimillion dollar investment every year to close that gap.

OL not even close to good enough.
Skill group is severely lacking.
DL is good not elite.
LB can’t cover.
Safeties are going to be working at enterprise in five months.

I froze my ass off to watch an embarrassment. But damnit it’s my embarrassment. I’ll be here for life. If they send us back to this place next year, I’ll be right back in the same spot. Sitting amongst the opps.

Heupel still needs at least 3 or 4 very strong recruiting classes to compete with Ohio State and Georgia.
