Heupel still needs at least 3 or 4 very strong recruiting classes to compete with Ohio State and Georgia.

It is going to take a major portal investment. The top teams are adding several premium players every year via the portal. If we are not willing to play that game, we will not win at the highest level.

- find a STAR and get Boo to safety
- no Campbell or Davis next year so expecting RT to not be a traffic cone
- please God take every athletic LB you can in the portal. And give the freshman guys a chance to earn a spot. Harmon can contribute quickly
- spend whatever you have to for a WR
- find a RB to add to the rotation although I really think Lewis is a dude

When he left UCF... there was bad blood between Heup and Shannon.
I wonder if Banks and Heup had some discussion about our tempo and Heup is trying to appease his DC.

We also haven’t been able to go quickly because the pocket breaks down every other play.

Darnell Wright stonewalled everyone in 2022 — he doesn’t get enough credit.

And Hendon was a really quick decision maker. Excellent manager of the game, too. Personnel has dictated the change in game plan 100% imo.
