Like if Baltimore called Philadelphia and said “Hey what if we trade you Gunnar for Bryce Harper?”

I was thinking more like if Atlanta called up Minnesota and said "We'll trade you Acuna for Correa."

Like I get that Anthony Davis is still really good (when he's actually healthy), but Luka is legitimately a top 3 player in the NBA and he's only 25. And you traded him for a 31 year old AD that has been healthy all of 1 season in the last 5 years.

That one stings. I know AA refuses to give out opt-outs, but this was a pretty easy call at this price. You rarely find a 3+ WAR SP for this cheap.

Which is funny, because when he sold he was still supposedly President of Basketball Ops. Clearly that wasn't true. I wonder if they gave him that title to placate the fans or something.

A couple of insiders had been commenting over the last few weeks that he's really expensive for the job he does and that they wouldn't mind if he moved on. Doesn't recruit, isn't a good OLB coach, is there to be a hype man and make sure nothing stupid happens on special teams (which he has been good at, to be fair).

They didn't say anything was in the works, but I think it was suspected by some that something was up.
