The cancel culture is getting out of control

It is amusing you don't see the cancel culture on your side of the aisle. Right now conservatives are stomping their feet and boycotting Disney because Disney had the audacity to refer to them as friends.
Oreos, Disney, NFL, Hallmark, Walmart, Liz Cheney, Mitt Romney, MLB, John McCain, Macy’s, Twitter, Coca-Cola, JP Morgan Chase, UPS, Delta, Citigroup, Cisco, Merck, etc…

Most fizzle out without any effect, but it’s still cute that they whine about cancel culture.

then why do these hacks continue shoving it down the throats of everyone ?

Or Disney had the audacity to spread lies and disinformation about what was truly in the bill Florida signed into law...

Oh, and with overwhelming public support of the bill:

Poll: Only 52% of Democrats oppose Florida's 'Don't Say Gay' policy

So, your quote of "outrage" over friends isn't quite accurate.

Anyone that uses the term "Don't Say Gay" is already guilty of spreading lies...

Not even what the bill is about.

Haha, OK. I still call it the PATRIOT Act even though that's a ******** name because that's what everybody calls it.

I'm sure you think "Parental Rights in Education" (I had to google it) is not misinformation.

Well, the overwhelming amount of parents supported the bill.

Even over 50% of Democrats supported the bill and that is about as close to a quorum as your going to get these days.

Now, what's Disney's issue with it again?

What did they say?

“Florida’s HB 1557, also known as the ‘Don’t Say Gay’ bill, should never have passed and should never have been signed into law. Our goal as a company is for this law to be repealed by the legislature or struck down in the courts, and we remain committed to supporting the national and state organizations working to achieve that. We are dedicated to standing up for the rights and safety of LGBTQ+ members of the Disney family, as well as the LGBTQ+ community in Florida and across the country.”

Good for Disney.

I've never heard of the right to prohibit others from having a conversation, but these naming conventions certainly work on the people prepared to buy them.

So they specifically said "AKA" so people would know what they are referring to, and Grand thinks this makes them liars.

The second part seems vague and I wonder what effect it will have on children adopted into gay and lesbian families.

I guess DeSantis’s speech police will be here any minute to haul me away.

Funny, they don't list exactly why they oppose it...

Which parts don't they like in particular?

MSM told them to oppose it. Clearwater has been the only one I've seen that gave a reasonable answer after he finally read it. And I agree with his response.

A) The alphabet soup employee that issued this press statement didn't read the bill and.....
B) The said employee couldn't understand it if he/she/they/it did read it.
