I asked elsewhere in this thread or a different one but haven't received a reply from anyone that's read it. Does she provide any proof of what she claims? Or is it "he said she said" stuff?

If she has proof or documentation to back up her claims then there's not much anyone can say against it. If it's just personal accusations and claims, then it could just be a family squabble as another family member has spoken out against her and I wouldn't put any more faith in her book than any other political fiction book. Maybe it's true. Maybe it's not. If it's just accusations and claims then it's not going to carry any weight.

But she'll probably make a bunch of money.

It’s death by a thousand cuts. The left actually used to be moderate and liberal. Slowly over time they’ve gotten further and further left. As that time has gone on, they’ve redefined the left and right amongst themselves, and brainwashed the Karen’s you see before you. They really think they are in the middle. The only lefty on this board who is close to being in the center is Zeppelin. Everyone else is an NPC.

He's wealthy. I don't know that I would call that "very successful". He certainly hasn't done anything anyone would use as a model nor has he been any kind of high achiever. Hell, the guy defrauded his own charity and has done everything he can to stiff creditors, employees and suppliers. It's all on the record....the only people that think he is very successful are dumbass rubes who don't know any better

Honestly, this works both ways. Conservative pundits make a lot of cash from these types of books, podcasts, Patreon, etc. Same as lefties (don't give David Pakman your email, he will never leave you alone).
I really don't care about Mary's book, nor will be buying it. It will be good gossip for a while, then fade like all the other ones.

The Democrats have swung back and forth from moderate to liberal since FDR. Right now it is back to being liberal, and I think that is in part a reaction to Trump and the Republican Congress. And, the right is more extreme today than at any point in the last 50 years.
