I will give my opinion in this: I believe he must be a Schiano fan who is angry over that deal. Being linked with Sandusky is not a good look, and we all know the media can spin whatever narrative they choose. Did he know about it, did he not know? we may never know the real answer to that question. The fans are the ones who pay for tickets, concessions, contribute to the Vol funds, make large donations to the university. I don't believe it had anything to do with whether or not he could win in the SEC. It was all related to the Sandusky problem.

Those outraged by Tennessee NOT wanting Schiano are imbeciles. You can disagree with the spurious assertions that Schiano was directly culpable in the Sandusky scandal, but the fact remains that NO ONE else was even considering that fool to be a HC besides us and (I guess) Rutgers.

Even the charlatan Urban Meyer (who expressed so much indignation that Schiano was rejected) never even thought about recommending Schiano as a serious candidate to replace him at Ohio State. Nobody wanted that guy. Period. We ended up with Pruitt, which was no better, but at least we went with an unknown quantity rather than a known loser.

I just threw up a little at the thought that this last point sounds a lot like something of a defense of the Pruitt hire. It’s not . . . because if Schiano HAD been hired, and IF he had even a mediocre 7 win kind of track record (likely the best he would have managed), we probably wouldn’t have gotten to Josh Heupel. Hell, Schiano might still be here and Fulmer might still be the AD. Terrible possibilities to contemplate . . .

Forde is a self-righteous D-bag.

I thought the Group A and Group B teams were determined by conference win-loss records over the previous 10 years.
That fact makes the AtoZ article stupid and moot.
Forde is a hack, but call him out when he hacks, and not when he is accurate.

Ten year conference record makes UT a Group B. It sucks for the teams that draw UT as a Group B opponent.
And good news for teams drawing UF and Auburn as Group A opponents. Looking at our schedule knowing this makes me feel better about it.

I dislike Forde, but I see the AtoZ article is clickbait of the worst sort. Manufacturing outrage is boring and weak. It makes our fanbase look worse than Forde ever could, because we are attacking him irrationally. Being angry based on the rationale of this article makes Forde's Schiano-based attack look substantiated.
