I know a lot don't like The (British) Open, but it ranks just ever so barely beneath The Masters in my order of favorite golf tournaments. I don't find the US Open or the PGA to be even remotely in the same ballpark. Looking forward to some fun golf and hopefully some craziness from Mother Nature and those nasty bunkers.
You'd want to still lose?

Pretty sure Rory won. You can't even pretend Sergio played badly at any point this week. This attempt of yours doesn't even warrant an A for effort. It's quite weak. Sergio played great all week and held his composure just as well. Rory was just better. And yeah, I'd take 2nd place in the British Open. Gladly.

Another moral victory for Sergio. At this point I don't really care to hear about the fluff, or his whining he isn't good enough, somebody else was just better, or excuses or any of that crap. He has the talent to win majors, many in fact. When (or if) he wins one I'll be happy to admit I was wrong. But until then, no more free passes from me. I'm tired of hearing it.
I'm sorry he's a loser. I'll stay above the personal stuff.
It has NOTHING to do with that... you made a ridiculous comment that Sergio "Sergio'd" yesterday when he shot a final round 66. Bottom line he played a great Open and as good as anyone could've played yesterday. Just admit that single point. That's all I'm asking.

No. I said that right after he Sergio'd his bunker shot on 15. Which he did. And it was stupid what he was trying to do. Not to mention it was obvious too. And it cost him outright second place. Which I guess is meaningful or something.
Yea.. going for win makes him a loser. Keep yourself in denial, it suits you. You can't act like Sergio will "Sergio" himself completely out of the tournament and then act like he did by trying one crazy shot and settling for a bogey on the day he shoots a final round 66 to finish tied for 2nd.
