I am a Red Sox fan, however I follow the Cubs and Braves because they are always on TV and I am a baseball fan in general. I watched the Cubs the other night and I like this team and IF the starting pitching gets back to strength I like their chances at making a playoff run! I was real impressed by the young SS and I like the fact that they picked up some speed! GIVE DUSTY AN EXTENSION!

We start this week off with a series against the Dodgers then at the end of the week we play the Cardinals. If we can take at least 2 games from the Cardinals we will be in good shape, but it wouldnt hurt to sweep them again for the second time this year!

The Cubs need to start lobbying to MLB to have the Cardinals on their schedule every day.

maddux pitched a gem tonight, he was phenominal. no pitcher this year has looked as good as he is looking right now.

maddux got a personal trainer in the offseason and It really showing now, the guy has the explosion on his ball back.
