The Dark Knight Trailer #3

Heath Ledger was phenomenal in that movie. Really miss the guy. I think the Joker would've made a great character in the new film.

Would have loved to see what he did with the Joker in this new movie.

IIRC though didn't Nolan say he wasn't sure that the Joker would return for the third movie?

He would have had a small part i.e. Scarecrow I'd guess. Still can't wait. Wish Nolan would make more.

Nolan has done great justice to Batman but I think if he did more than three movies it would get watered down or played out. I don't think he could keep the greatness of the movies going. Obviously could be wrong.

Like the Transformers franchise. I liked the first one, but then it seemed like it should have ended. The second one wasn't great and I've yet to see the third one, and don't really care if I do or not.

I think the first and second movies were good movies. I think the story line in the third one kind of made the third one not up to par. Not that the third one was bad, just don't think it was as good as the first two.

The knightfall story is one of the best Batman comic series ever behind only Year One and the Long Halloween in my opinion.

Dark Knight Returns?

Grant Morrison has done some great stuff, if not a bit confusing at times, over the past 5 years.

Paul Dini, the brain behind the 90s animated series, had a solid run too which included The Heart of Hush story that far exceeded the original Hush story.

I like the movies. The trailer has me amped about the new one. I HATE Christian Bale, his weird face acting, and his weird serious voice.

Vaque answer but a mixture of both. Surprisingly Nolan uses a lot of inspiration from the comucs throwing in his vision.

Bane in the comics breaks Batmans back as you see in the trailer.

What I wont tell you is how he gets better.

:)

That would be a spoiler.

This is easy.

What they arent showing you is the Lazarus pit which is clearly going to be used to heal batman.

Batman is not going to die though. Warner Bros would not let that happen as it would cause to much confusion in the toy line, comic series, and future cartoons.

Batman, while some stories change, never really goes off course.

Warner Bros also made a huge mistake in the breaking of the bat arch and it nearly killed the comic book. It was so bad that they had to bring him back and that was not the original intent.

Knightfall was good. What happened after Knightfall was pure crap.

Nolan could do ten Dark Knight movies, and the tenth one would still be better than the first transformers.

Michael Bay can run with the best of them on effects and action, and I watch his movies for that alone, but they're not exactly mentally stimulating.

The summer of Knightfall and Reign of Supermen was one A fun time to be reading comics.

I think it's odd to contrast the Avengers previews that look like a fun popcorn action adventure flick while The Dark Knight looks like a depressing drama.
