How nice is it the day after to be completely satisfied with the results? To not have to lament losing out on those key players the team needed so badly? To look over the list of signees to see legit talent and not a class full of hopeful projects?
For myself, after the past few years, the feeling is almost surreal. Almost too good to be true.
Thank you to our coaching staff for working your butts off and making this a stellar year in recruiting. Thanks to all of the signees for being men of your word and keeping this day drama free. All of you will be forever remembered for being the spark that ignited the flame. You will not regret your decision.

Take some of these recruits (or = ranking) and place them in last year's class and we probably have a top 10 class last year and still manage a top 10 this year (they only count 20). Because of the sheer numbers (alongside the ratings, of course), this is going to change the program more than some people even imagine.

Yeah, I think we need to give alot of credit to the kids who signed yesterday. The coaching staff is getting alot of praise and deservedly so, but what about these guys? Most of them are taking a big chance on Tennessee and they deserved to be recognized for it. These guys could go all sorts of places, but they chose to go to a program coming off 4 straight losing seasons. A superstar like Malone decided to go to our school despite an utterly shaky QB situation. Hurd decided to go to UT despite an O-Line that returns no starters. Our defensive recruits should know our defensive woes, two years of the worst defenses in school history, and are up for the challenge of turning that around. And these kids didn't waver from their commitment. They deserve alot of praise.

Exactly.
These kids are the ones who gave their word and stuck to it. There is no doubt that the staff worked like hell to get them to look at the door, but it was these young men who had the guts to walk through it.

My only complaint, and its not about the class, is that on the radio here in south carolina they were talking about how we never expected cory to flip to State. Not a big deal but we knew it was coming long before it happened. Then again, you get alot of stuff like that here. I'm estatic about this class though.

No disrespect to Cory, but trading a 3* for an instate 4* is a win in my book.

For the first time I look at our class and can't see a weak spot. The future is bright... bright f***ing orange!

I too am excited with this class but more so with the amount and level of the early enrollees. These kids will be on fire when fall camp opens in Aug. We have had pretty god talent over the past few years but no depth. This class puts quality depth at several positions. It will be nice to see 4 star talent coming off the bench to replace 4 star players on the field.

Of all the words in your vocabulary, that's the best you could come up with to respond to the poster. Really nice dude.

Nice to see in an almost exclusively upbeat, optimistic thread that someone found something to whine about.
